One of the best web 2.0 tools I have come across has been Prezi. It is an interactive presentation software that allows the creator to run with their imagination! You are able to create a presentation in 3D and is incredibly user friendly! You simply drag or insert frames, images, media, and symbols. You can redirect the path of your Prezi presentation and search from google images from the Prezi you are working on!
The entire presentation becomes interactive and jumps and moves from screen to screen, image to image. I have been using this in the 10th grade classroom I am in and they thought it was so cool! They were impressed by the technology and thought the movement around the screen was very "cool".

Xtranormal.com is also a fun website where you can make animated videos for your students that include specific characters, music, motions, scenes and customized messages! Perfect for a use in a reminder email about a test or assignment, or even when you are out for a day and want to leave your students a fun message! Students could even create their own avatar and create messages or videos on a historical figure they are studying.
Remind 101 is technology that I have already heard a ton of positive feedback about! We cannot deny that our students are always on their cell phones....we see it all the time! So what better way to embrace the technology they use the most and text them! Remind 101 allows you to send a mass text that does not allow for a reply, that way it is completely appropriate within the student-teacher relationship. You can send your students or parents a reminder text about a meeting, big test or a congratulations for a great job on a project!
